Intervention in the Middle East: Lessons from Iraq to Libya

The Centre welcomed Mr Rory Stewart MP to the Centre for the first time on 14 February 2013 to deliver a lecture in the Examination Schools. He spoke to a packed audience about the challenges facing decision-makers over Afghanistan, followed by a lively discussion. Mr Stewart is well known as a traveller, writer and expert on South Asia and the Middle East, who has worked and travelled in Iraq and founded the Turquoise Mountain charity in Afghanistan.
