Modern Standard Arabic
Applications are now closed.
Levels: Arabic (Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4) comprise
20 weekly meetings spread over two terms Michaelmas 2011 (Sept-Dec.2011)
and Hilary 2012 (Jan-April 2012). An additional consolidation
course is available in Trinity Term.
Cost: £275.00 per course (i.e. two terms):
concessionary fees may be available.
There are 20 CATS points for the completion of Arabic 1, 2
, 3.
If you have not undertaken an Arabic course at the Centre and you
are applying for courses 2, 3 and 4, please register to take a placement
test to determine the appropriate level for you. Please arrange
to visit the Centre to sit a placement test. See details below.
Beginners: 'Arabic 1a' and 'Arabic 1b' are the
