The Ultimate Journey
The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies is hosting an exhibition ‘The Ultimate Journey’ from Dar Layan Culture. It features artwork depicting the three holy sites of Islam: the Grand Mosque in Makkah, the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah and Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. The works on show were created by a diverse group of artists including Dia Aziz Dia, Reem Nazir, Peter Gould, Raeda Ashour and Bill West, among others.
This exhibition is presented in the United Kingdom for the first time. The show allows local audiences to explore artworks shaped by the unique environments, societies, and thoughts of the artists.
The exhibition will be open daily, 2:00–3:00pm, 6 February to 30 April 2026.
