Donation from the Lord Mayor of Oxford at the end of his term of office
The Registrar received a donation from Councillor Altaf Khan, who chose the Centre’s scholarship fund as one of his designated charities.

Following a reception, the opening ceremony began with speeches by the Centre’s Director, Dr Farhan Nizami, and the co-chair of the Board of Trustees, HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal.
Press Release: Award of the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah International Prize
The Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah International Prize in Islamic Finance has been jointly awarded to the Islamic Development Bank as an institution and to HE Dr Ahmad Mohamed Al-Madani.
