exhibition galleryAn exhibition gallery is at the heart of the Centre's building. With its state-of-the art humidity controlled air-conditioning, high-tech security and fire-suppression systems, it hosts travelling exhibitions illuminating aspects of Islamic civilisation to academics, students, schools and the general public. The gallery (see artist's impression, right) has a floor area of 165 sq. m. It is also designed to function as the central element in an extended exhibition space with a floor area up to 500 sq. m.

Past exhibitions supported by the Centre have included the Al-Mizan exhibition hosted with the Museum of the History of Science (click for details). In 2018 the Centre hosted the exhibition Journey of a Lifetime – a photographic record of the visit of HRH Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1938. Click to download the flyer
