This lecture will begin at 5pm, and will be followed by a Q+A. All welcome. Booking is not required for this event. The lecture is part of the Centre's project on Public Health, Science and Technology in Muslim Societies.
Dr Suleman will share his findings from an empirical study that shows Islam, its texts and lived practice, find growing importance within the UK end of life care discourse. The moral anxiety and associated tensions will be presented with an evaluation of implications for health systems, health care services, providers and users.
