Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, Formerly President of the UK Supreme Court, delivered a lecture on 12 February 2014 on “The Elastic Jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights” in the Examination Schools. Lord Phillips, the Sultan Azlan Shah Fellow was introduced by the Director, Dr. Farhan Nizami. Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, Principal of Mansfield College, proposed the Vote of Thanks and the Director hosted a dinner in honour of Lord Phillips.
